Comrade Pelosi's "Health Care" Bill--It's everything we protested against

Nancy Pelosi, queen of the Democratic Socialists of America, has finally turned loose of her "health care" bill--all 1990 pages of it--and she'd like to have it voted on immediately, if not sooner, (before anyone really has a chance to read it).

It includes everything we protested against in town hall meetings across the country in August and that the folks who marched in Washington on September 12th were opposed to. Goes to show you how much she was concerned with our opinions doesn't it? After all, who needs to listen to the American people? Any of them who don't agree with Obama's Marxist plans for America are just "low-level terrorists" anyway. How dare we protest what our socialist master have planned for us. We should all be thankful that Obama and his crew were elected because now we can begin to live in a socialist country where we are totally free to do everything our elected leaders tell us to. How can we be such ingrates as to not appreciate that? All of those old outmoded ideas about people thinking for themselves and taking personal responsibility for their actions have got to be done away with and those who hold to such outdated concepts have to be re-educated so they will learn to appreciate the new socialist worker's paradise the master planners have envisioned for us.

According to Grassfire.org "The bill includes everything Obama and the Democrats have been pushing for...a public option that will destroy private choice; the unconstitutional individual mandate; the punitive employer mandate; draconian cuts in Medicare; and massive tax increases." All ideas dear to the warm, fuzzy hearts of collectivists.

David A. Patten, writing on http://www.newsmax.com for October 29th wrote that: "Healthcare reforms that were supposed to contain costs actually will cause a sharp hike in premiums, they add. In fact, several studies indicate consumers' premiums could more than double next year if healthcare reform takes effect...The rate hikes stem from the hundreds of billions in proposed fees and taxes levied on providers." Senator Hatch from Utah has noted, at a business symposium that: "average Americans who purchase health plans, take prescription drugs, or use medical devices will end up footing the bill." Happy news isn't it? As for Comrade Pelosi, she couldn't care less.

And Hugh Hewitt, writing on http://townhall.com on October 29th noted that: "While we don't know how the final vote will go on Obamacare or even remotely what the final bill will look like, we know for certain that every version slashes Medicare benefits and forces large premium hikes for seniors living on fixed incomes from reduced portfolios and stagnant social security payments...We know for certain that every version of Obamacare is layered with tax hikes, both direct and indirect."

And with the big sweat in Congress to get this thing enacted into law, I can only conclude that someone behind the scenes has handed Comrades, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid some sort of ultimatum that they better get this done and done in a hurry. Mr. Hewitt describes what is going on now in Sodom on the Potomoc as "the Obama-Pelosi-Reid lurch to the left." Mr. Hewitt, these folks are not just now "lurching to the left"--they've always been over there, but they were never before in those leadership positions where they had the wherewithall to actually enact a full socialist agenda. Now they are. They want to get all of this done by the end of the year. If they can enact enough socialist measures before next year's congressional elections they won't have to worry about what happens in those elections. With a socialist agenda enacted mostly this year and with a devotee of Marx in the White House, why worry about elections next year--we might not even need them! The "dictatorship of the proletariat" will have spoken--why bother with meaningless elections?

So get ready, folks, we will get "Obamacare" or maybe a better title would be "Obamascare" whether we want it or not. Congress and the president have been told what to do, and what the American people want simply doesn't matter. The collectivist leadership of the country knows it will have big problems if it doesn't get this done. Who knows what skeletons might be brought out of closets to haunt them if they fail? What the public wants doesn't even begin to enter into the equation. Congressman Ron Paul, one of the mere handful of honest men in Washington has called this "...one of the most important political battles of our lifetimes..."
