As usual, an excellent piece of writing. Thank you for all the effort, such as research, that must go into these articles.
Your articles are always a breath of fresh air.

The People's Republic of China Flag flew from the side of my high school alma mater for about one year. This is North Atlanta High School in the city of the same name. Mr. Benson's article is right on the mark.

This incident is not unusual. I sued the high school and BOE where I was working in 2002 as a JROTC department chair. We won in Federal Court after the principal, Jim VanMaanen, tried to fire me for just ASKING if my son could wear a t-shirt with a small Battle Flag on it as part of a historical scene. Leavenworth, Kansas tax payers got to fund the Rutherford Institute that backed us when we won on the BOE requested settlement. In the meantime, a number of flags of enemy and unfriendly countries....including the Soviet and Cuban flags.....in our school main hallway were mysteriously replaced by some patriots with flags of countries friendly to us (you might guess who the patriots are). Most administrators and teachers mindlessly passed these flags installed by a leftist teacher without a thought on a daily basis but those flags are gone now!
Dear Lt. Col. Kennedy,
Commentary such as yours is right from the horse's mouth so to speak. The situation you describe is one that goes on in the government schools more often than anyone would think, and almost no one ever hears about this. All we ever hear from the pseudo-Marxists in government schools is how they always need more and more of our money for "quality education." Somehow I have the feeling that such a term doesn't mean the same thing to them it does to us. So they use aesopian language to take more of our money to brainwash our kids. Maybe someday we'll wake up, but if we do I hope it's not too late.
