"Global Warming" And All That Drivel

For years now, ever since we stopped hearing warnings about "Nuclear Winter," we have been treated by rather strange environmentalists, to warnings about "Global Warming," "greenhouse emissions" and all that. It seems that the same people went overnight from warning us about global cooling to warning us about global warming. Naturally, the only solution to this thorny problem these people have is more and bigger government in all areas of our lives. These "useful idiots" really believe that government (the bigger the better) is the total solution to any and all of man's problems. The Soviet Union had such useful idiots and now it is becoming more and more apparent that we have them here, in fact have had them for longer than we care to admit. However, since the advent of the current regime, they seem to be literally crawling out of the woodwork. They have proliferated greatly in post-America.

After several years of relentless global warming propaganda we had finally gotten to the point where many reputable scientists were beginning to have serious doubts about it. So were the American people. Those who believe the global warming fable had dropped recently from 77% of the people down to 57%. Some of the doubts were beginning to appear in print. In order to head this dawning of truth off at the pass,  our current Marxist regime added Dr. John P. Holdren to the growing list of unconstitutional czars. He's the director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. According to an article by L. D. Breen on http://www.newsmax.com  for November 27th: "Holdren is an intractable global warming activist with no time for climate change skepticism. In a New York Times article, he contended that such questioning 'has delayed--and continues to delay--the development of the political consensus that will be needed if society is to embrace remedies commensurate with the challenge." What he's saying, in other words is--don't bother looking at both sides of the question to determine where the truth lies--my mind is already made up and I have an agenda I want implemented without further ado, so let's go ahead and do what I want--right now! End of conversation! Has anyone detected this exact same approach with the current "health care" bills now in Congress--bills that our Marxist-in-Chief wants rammed through Congress before the year's end?

Holdren, like all of Obama's appointees, has a track record of leftist extremism (could Obama appoint anything else?). He co-authored a book back in 1977 which, for the purposes of population control, advocated compulsory abortion and government-dictated family size, the same as they did in Red China. It also advocated mass sterilization.

Breen's article noted that: " Dr. John P. Holdren is a key player in the Climategate e-mails flap, which is shaping up as the biggest scandal in the history of modern science." He wrote that Holdren: "...features prominently in the thousands of e-mails and other files made public after the hacking last week of a computer server used by the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit."

It seems that the Climategate situation is one where scientists who are anxious to promote the theory of global warming and so anxious that they are willing to "cook the books" as the saying goes to "prove" their theory is correct. So they're manipulating the data to make it appear as though their theory is accurate. One can grasp the idea of politicians doing this. That's a fact of life, but scientists are supposed to be above all that in their objective search for truth. Now we find out that's not really how it is. Ideology drives some scientists more than the pursuit of truth.

Lorne Gunter, writing on http://globalwarming-arclein.blogspot.com  has made observations about those incriminating e-mails that some of us may have read about in the papers in some sanitized form. He has said: "Stolen and then released were over 1000 e-mails and 3000 research files that appear to show that those at CRU and other equally well-known climate scientists around the world have been working together for years to 'cook' the data about climate change.  The e-mails seem to suggest that much of what the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change claims is 'settled science' is based on data manipulated to confirm assertions that man is dangerously altering our climate...If the e-mails are correct, CRU scientists also took great glee in the death of a prominent skeptic and did their level best to keep those who disagreed with them from being published in peer-reviewed journals or invited to contribute to IPCC reports." Well, folks, it seems that like our bought-and-paid-for media, these scientists have an agenda and so no really objective scientific truth that may disagree with that agenda will be allowed to be presented.

Just as we are "free" in this country to believe what the government tells us to, so we are also "free" to believe the junk science that left-leaning scientists assure us is totally accurate. Should anyone dare to disagree with the current party line, why they belong back with the Neanderthals.

I recently read where our Marxist-in-Chief will now go to Copenhagen, along with other world leaders who previously had not planned to go either, so they can all get together to prop up the fake science called "global warming" at the international level--probably with some program run by the United Nations--that paragon of human "freedom and liberty." A good description of the UN might be "the house that (Alger) Hiss built." For any of you who don't know who Alger Hiss was, (your government school history books may well have forgotten to mention him), he was a Communist in our State Department in the 1940s and 50s who helped to organize the United Nations. That's another whole story. However, UN programs are exactly what Mr. Obama and his left-wing czars would endorse. The UN is the epitome of one-world government!

On http://www.freerepublic.com Holdren has been described, on November 26th as "...another socialist in the White House (who) was pushing global cooling before he was pushing man-made global warming...will the state-run media be bold enough to hide this too?" You better believe they will if they can. Like the false scientists, they will only tell us what the state thinks we ought to know and will attempt to hide from us anything else that may disagree with the current agenda. So keep your eyes on the media to see exactly how much information they give us on this scenario--but don't be surprised if it ain't too much!

There is one positive note in all this and it is found in Psalm 2 in the Holy Scriptures, where the rulers of the earth take counsel together against the Lord and seek to break His sovereign control over them with their various conspiracies. Verse 4 tells us that "the Lord shall have them in derision." Such people, false scientists, sleazy politicians, a perverse media, or whoever they are will finally meet their end as described in verse 12 of the same psalm--unless they repent. No matter how much they deceive and delude, their end is certain and they had better take note of it.
