The fuss over "climategate" continues, although you'd never know there was any problem at all if you depended on the "news" (what a laugh) media to let you know about it.  The prostitute press has dutifully ignored it as much as possible, only telling people that, regardless of what information is turned up, the "science is settled" on the global warming issue. In real life what that means is "Shut up stupid and just listen to what we tell you and don't ask any questions." The fly in the buttermilk is, though, in spite of the scientists' reassurance to us that they'd never dream of lying to us, people are beginning to ask tough questions, and what's more, those questions are leading some to question the deity of science. Naughty, naughty people!

Walter Williams, a professor of economics at George Mason University wrote an article that appeared on http://economics.gmu.edu that dealt with this. Professor Williams is no dummy and, unlike some college professors, he thinks on his own and doesn't buy anyone's party line. On December 9th Williams wrote: "Scientists who have been skeptical about manmade global warming have been called traitors and handmaidens of big oil. New evidence proves that climatologists and environmental policy advocates have not only fed us lies, engaged in scientific and academic fraud but committed criminal acts as well."

And Williams further notes: "The emails (from climategate) involved communication among climate researchers and policy advocates around the world who brazenly discuss both the destruction and hiding of data that does not support their global-warming claims. They discuss criminally deleting data rather than comply with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.  There's also discussion of faking data for journals such as Nature, conspiring to keep opposing science out of peer-reviewed journals (which they controlled the editorial boards),  and using statistical 'tricks'  to hide the cooling period of the last 10 years." Oh my!  Why surely our dedicated scientists,  in their objective and noble search for truth, wouldn't engage in such nefarious tactics as these--would they? After all, if you can't trust the scientists and the government, why who can you trust? Interesting question. Please don't all answer at once.

Dr. William Gray, a renowned Atmospheric Scientist and hurricane forecasting specialist, who happens to be an Emeritus Professor of Atmospheric Science
at Colorado State University, wrote an article which appeared on December 8th on http://www.newsmax.com in which he observed: "There has been an unrelenting quarter century of one-sided indoctrination of the Western world by the media and by various scientists and governments concerning a coming carbon dioxide C02 induced global warming disaster.  These warming scenarios  have been orchestrated by a combination of environmentalists, vested interest scientists wanting larger federal grants and publicity, the media which profits from doomsday scenario reporting, governmental bureaucrats who want more power over our lives, and socialists who want to level-out global living standards." Power, control, lies, and redistribution of the wealth--all goals of a Marxist society and mentality.

Once more, as it seems to have been demonstrated, these people have little concern as to whether their global warming fantasies are even accurate or not--which they don't seem to be. No matter, just keep telling everyone that the "science is settled" on the question and move on with the socialist agenda.  Who cares whether it's accurate or not?  If it concentrates more power over people's lives at the center, that's the real name of the game anyway.  Real scientific deductions, in this case, maybe run a distant third or fourth. Power and control are the real ends, and so whatever has to be done to attain those justifies whatever means used.

These people hope to scare enough of the public into believing their hype that they will be willing to go along with whatever the "scientists" recommend as the only possible way to save the world from a gigantic meltdown. It may mean lowering our standard of living and being willing to curtail our God-given liberties, and concentrating even more power in Washington and the United Nations--but it's all for the "noble cause" of "climate salvation." These people refuse to believe that God is in control of the earth, as well as the rest of the universe, and so they feel the compelling need to step in and take His place because, after all, aren't they, in their infinite wisdom, smarter than He?

Quite charitably, you could describe what these people are trying to do as "bovine fertilizer" in lieu of a cruder term which I will not employ here.

The whole global warming scam is about money, people control, and socialist agendas. Years ago, someone very aptly described these radical environmentalist types as "the watermelon gang--green on the outside and RED on the inside." That's a very good description--one we should continue to remember as we are forced to listen to their pious platitudes about their "concern" for the planet. Their real concern is power for themselves and their comrades. Let's not forget that.
