The headline on the Internet article read: "Stimulus Spent Over $617k in Non-Existent Missouri District." The short article with that headline was written by Dana Loesch and was on http://thedanashow.wordpress.com and it seems to have been quite typical of where the "stimulus" money doled out by the current Marxist regime in Washington went.

The situation in Minnesota was no different according to an article by Tom Steward on http://looktruenorth.com in which he noted federal government figures on stimulus spending for several districts in Minnesota, notably the 57th, 27th, and 13th. He told us that for the 27th district that: The federal government's statistics indicate only 2.5 jobs have been created or saved despite the listed expenditure of $3,159,657 in taxpayer dollars.  Then there's the 13th district which outperformed them all. Hard to believe but the hard working folks in the 13th congressional district generated five jobs from just $42,109 in stimulus spending." Mr. Steward noted how suprised the folks in Minnesota must have been by all this--because these districts to not exist--nor does the 00 Congressional District, which listed stimulus spending there at a hefty $404,340, which created zero jobs!  According to the federal site that lists all the stimulus spending in Minnesota, that state has 19 Congressional Districts instead of the 8 they really have. And Steward observed: "Altogether the eleven extra Congressional Districts posted received more than $7 million in stimulus spending, creating or saving about 50 jobs. Such a deal."  You do have to wonder a bit where that $7 million for all those non-existent Congressional Districts went to. The Great Obamunist told us that his would be an administration of "transparency." It would seem that some of those congressional districts that received millions in stimulus money are so "transparent" that they don't even exist. Does this give the Obamunist claims of "transparency" a whole new meaning or what? But, don't go away, folks. As the man says "You ain't heard nothin' yet."

On http://sayanythingblog.com there was an article for November 16th dealing with the same situation in Arizona. The article stated: "Here's a stimulus success story: In Arizona's 9th congressional district 30 jobs have been saved or created with just $761,420 in federal stimulus spending. At least that's what the website set up by the Obama Administration to track the $787 billion stimulus says. There's only one problem, though: There is no 9th Congressional District in Arizona; the state has only eight congressional districts. There's no 86th Congressional District in Arizona either, but the government's Recovery.com Web site says $34 million in stimulus money has been spent there. In fact, Recovery.com lists hundreds of millions spent and hundreds of jobs created in Congressional districts that don't exist...But hey, let's totally put these idiots in charge of managing our health care for us. They won't screw it up. They promise."

Same situation in New Mexico also. An article on http://watchdog.org written by Jim Scarentino on November 16th observed: "Other fictional New Mexico Congressional Districts receiving stimulus money were NM 40 (no jobs for $7.96 million), NM 4 (10 jobs created/saved for $4.72 million), NM 13 (5 jobs created for $3.3 million), NM 16 (no jobs for $517,980, NM 9 (no jobs for $100,000)...It's all right here, the official word from the Obama Administration on the positive effects of nearly a trillion in spending it is reporting in the Land of Enchantment."

The article also claimed that: "The claimed efficacy of the Stimulus Bill has been questioned by the media several times in the past month. Numerous media studies have revealed a reporting system riddled with errors and results that are 'impossible' to calculate..."

Even Vice-President Biden, the consummate insider/outsider has admitted that the statistics were seriously flawed after an Associated Press study concluded there were "...several instances of exaggerated and outright false job creation." The Vice-President noted that further corrections will be needed. I guess you could say that.

What makes me wonder is why the media picked up on this to begin with. All along they have made it a practice to shield the current regime from any criticism and have gone out of their way to avoid telling the public anything that would portray Obamunism in a bad light. Often if you want to find out what really goes on in this country you have to read articles from European papers. You find out from them what the managed media here refuses to mention. So why this? Did Obama commit some act that ticked of George Soros or one of the other elites that pull Obama's strings and this was their method of issuing a gentle "chastisement?" Did the bloggers on the Internet come up with so much info about this that the regular media felt they needed to address it? No wonder Obama wants to regulate the Internet.

At the great risk of sounding as though I doubt the fabled "transparency" of our current regime, I just wonder how much of the stimulus money ended up in the pockets of those Obama might owe "political favors" to. This "transparent" regime has lied to the American people since day one about so much that it's hard to believe that such gross "errors" are merely the result of bad math calculations. It would be interesting in this case if we could really "follow the money" to see what it all went, and to whom.

Ain't Obamunist "transparency" just wonderful?
