When the Governor of Arizona recently (last April) signed into law a strong anti-illegal immigration bill you could almost hear the tops blowing off the socialist teapots in Sodom on the Potomac. From our Marxist-in-Chief on down through the other socialist cadres there you could tell they didn't like this bill. This bill was going to make it much harder for illegal immigrants to exist in Arizona--a fact that caused our Marxist-in-Chief much pain and discomfort.

It seems to have caused a bit of discomfort in Mexico City too because the Mexican government has gone so far as to submit a legal brief in support of one of the many lawsuits challenging the new Arizona law. This seems to me to be a classic case of Mexico intentionally meddling in the affairs of the United States (not that the US hasn't done it's share of that around the world also). I have no doubt whatever that our current Marxist regime will fully support the efforts of the Mexican lawyers. Obama has constantly shown more support for illegal aliens than he has for those legitimately trying to stem their tide here.

Obama is aware that if elections are allowed this November the Democrats will suffer horrendous losses in Congress--unless he can manage to get all those illegal aliens amnestied and registered to vote Democratic if he needs them.

To that end his administration has been conducting "behind-the-scenes" talks (does this administration ever do it any other way) to find out if Homeland Security can just grant legal status en masse to illegal immigrants. Polls have shown that the public at large want stronger laws against illegal immigration. Most are in favor of supporting the new law in Arizona. Obama would just as soon there were no laws at all against having them cross our Southern border in droves. He's love to change the entire culture of this country during his administration and millions of these people would be a big plus for him.

Texas Border Patrol officers have discovered, along their section of the border, Iranian currency, Islamic prayer rugs and Arabic clothing, which suggests that there are more than poor Mexicans crossing into the country. A breakdown of illegal immigrants caught and detained in Florence, Arizona recently showed, out of a group of 395, there were 18 from Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Sudan, Pakistan and other places. I rather doubt these Middle-eastern wetbacks crossed our Southern border in pursuit of a good place to spend their summer holidays.

Will the Governor of Arizona get any support for her new law from the current group of leftists in Washington? Why even ask? You already know the answer to that one. The Governor of Arizona has asked Washington for help because the Mexican drug cartels have actually taken over some sections of Southern Arizona. The federal response to this invasion? They put some signs up warning tourists that these areas are unsafe to travel in. Doesn't such firm federal action in behalf of one of our states give you the warm fuzzies???

The current Marxist regime in power will do everything in its power to sabotage any real attempt by Arizona (or any state) to protect its borders. We here in the South should keep that in mind. If, here in Louisiana, we should ever pass such a bill, all we need do is look at Arizona and we will know what to expect from Washington. The feds have done so much to "help" us with the oil spill in the Gulf you just know what to expect from them on a hot button issue like illegal immigration.
