Our beneficient Senate in Sodom on the Potomac has decided, in its omnipotent wisdom, (and probably with a little avarice in mind) to clear the way for the debate to begin on the great Obamunist health plan. They are already telling us how wonderful it will be for all of us.
Last evening, someone sent me an Email from a senator who stated: "Tonight Democratic senators stood for you. We stood for a healthier nation. We stood for patient's rights. Every Democratic senator stood together to move forward with historic health care reform. Your passion and persistence paid off." All I can say is--what a crock that is! None of it is true, whether the turkey that said it knows that or not. If he knows it he is a conscious liar and if he doesn't know it then he isn't qualified to serve in office. Either way, the American people are in the process of getting stiffed by the present Marxist administration in Washington. All Marxist governments everywhere play this game. They give those unfortunate to have to live under them the shaft, all the while telling them how great it is and how much worse it is in non-Marxist countries.
And the "public option" that so many protested against during the summer, the one that lets the feds take over paying, or not paying, all the insurance, is still alive and well. Senator Dick Durban from Illinois, that Midwestern Marxist Paradise, noted: "Not long ago the public option seemed like little more than a pipe dream. Now it's part of the health care bills in both the Senate and the House." Durban prattled on about how the majority of Americans really support the public option. Which all goes to show you that our "elected representatives" were not really listening to our protests in August and September. They already had their minds and their agenda made up--the health care agenda had already been drawn up for them--and they were not about to deviate from it no matter what the public wanted. So much for the charade of "elected" representation in post-Amerika! We're paying these clowns big bucks so they can go to Washington and pass legislation we don't want and then come home and tell us how good will be the stuff we wanted them to vote against--so good that they just had to go ahead and vote for it despite our wishes. After all, when you know it all, you already know what's best for people and so you give it to them, even if they don't care to have it.
Maybe you could call that "representative Marxism." And the ordinary folks living under such a system are always free to do what the government wants them to do.
Senator Mary Landrieu from here in Louisiana voted to bring the health care debate to the senate floor, telling us that: "It is clear to me that doing nothing is not an option." Oh? When it comes to federally mandated "health care" nothing is exactly what we should do! We have been told that, in exchange for voting to bring the bill up for debate, that Landrieu "won $100 million in the legislation to help her state pay the cost of health care for the poor." In other words, the powers that be bought her for $100 million in promises. How many other Democratic senators did they buy, and for how much??? I don't doubt for a minute that many of them are for sale to the highest bidder--and many of the Republicans as well. Congressional greed is truly bipartisan.
Any of you that saw the movie "Braveheart" about Scottish patriot William Wallace, a few years ago, may remember the scene in the movie where the princess offers Wallace a chest of gold. When Wallace asked her why she said "This is how peace is made." Wallace, refusing the gold, contradicted her and said "This is how slaves are made." An accurate sentiment indeed. The current Marxist administration, and those before it, were not and are not averse to getting what they want by coercion, bribery, blackmail, or whatever other method will guarantee that the party agenda will be carried out.
George Soros and Obama's other handlers want a socialist health care system in this country, even if the public doesn't. So Obama has to give them what they want or he may be facing some problems. As for us, we get to pay for it,-- all the way down to the third and fourth generation, whether we want it or not.
