"They're All Communists"

On October 21st an excellent article, written by Laura Hollis, was posted on http:townhall.com the title of which was "They're All Communists." Care to guess who she was talking about? Should anyone wonder who Laura Hollis is, she's a Clinical Professor of Business Administration at the University of Illinois. With a worldview such as hers it's a wonder she's been able to keep her job there--unless she has tenure and they can't get rid of her.

Hollis is very outspoken, and quite correct in her assertions. I have no argument with them. She wrote: "Back when people were tippy-toeing around the "s" word (socialism) and before he was elected, I called out Obama's basic political inclinations for what they are--communist." Having followed his legislative trail and his incursions into the murky realm of czardom, I have to agree with her. Hollis cites a litany of Obama's appointments, noting recent White House Communications Director, Anita Dunn, who seems to go absolutely gaga over the writings of Communist mass-murderer Mao Tse Tung. Dunn feels that gentle old Mao should serve as an inspiration to students in this country who have to "figure out how to do things that have never been done before." Well, you must admit that Mao's mass physical and cultural genocide in Red China had "never been done before" at least not quite the way he did it.

She noted the Obamunist "Science czar" who has written about the "possible need" for mandatory sterilization and forced abortions to supposedly stem the "population explosion." I wonder who he's advocating this for. Forced abortions are another of Red China's favorite little pastimes. You begin to wonder if the Great Obamunist is busily appointing czars that are all confirmed Maoists. Hollis also mentioned czar Cass Sunstein and his goal of saving the lives of animals by prohibiting the eating of meat.  I dealt with Mr. Sunstein in a previous article so I won't go further into his abberations here.

Hollis mentioned a "Newsweek" article from February of this year that loudly proclaimed "We are all socialists now." Apparently "Newsweek" thought that was just wonderful. But, then, wouldn't the prostitute press concur? That's what they're being paid their thirty pieces of silver for isn't it? Hollis noted that: "...Obama is no mere socialist. A socialist just wants your money; a communist wants complete control of your life." I might slightly disagree here. A socialist is nothing more than a slow communist, and a communist is little more than a socialist in a big hurry. In the same vein, most Republicans are little more than "slow Democrats." They want to take you over the same collectivist cliff that the Democrats do, they just don't want to get there quite as fast. However, the end destination is the same in either case.

For example, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America as are over 50 other congresspersons. Ms. Pelosi is most definitely in a big sweat to control every jot and tittle of our lives, from our health care to what we eat for lunch next Wednesday. Pelosi is quite direct in her mad assertions that the Feds have the constitutional authority to do just about anything they want to us--and just think--in our "free" society, we actually have the "freedom" to go along with that. Ain't "freedom" wonderful???
The old socialist Forty-Eighters from Europe who came to this country before our War of Northern Aggression and helped Lincoln to wage his genocidal war on the South, came here to fight for "Union, freedom, and democracy." Well, folks, we've got it all now. How do you like it?

Laura Hollis' column, as I said, is very blunt, but also very accurate. She tells it like it is, even when folks don't really want to hear it. Question: with all the problems with Obama's czars and their Marxist proclivities, how much about all of that have you read in your evening paper? How much of that has been discussed on the six o-clock news? You didn't see it? You must have forgotten to tune in on the night they exposed all that!

We have what amounts to a Marxist administration in Sodom on the Potomoc and the American people had better begin to realize that. Even some of the conservatives had better begin to realize that. Too many of them seem to play the game of "being nice" which, accurately interpreted, means that you don't say anything negative about anybody, even if they are busily tearing down your country and your freedoms around your ears.

Thankfully, there has been much legal resistance to Obama's Marxist policies. There needs to be more--much more legal resistance.
