We currently have a 71 year old Senator. A 46 year old , one term, one year inexperienced Senator from Illinois and the former First Lady, a second term Senator from New York.
Except for twice in history (Kennedy being the most recent) no Senator has been elected.
We ran away from the "smoke filled room " method of selection. Is this success?
CAN'T THE INGENUUITY OF THE GREATEST DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY IN THE WORLD FIND A BETTER WAY TO PUT FORTH A SLATE OF CANDIDATES WORTHY OF FINALLY BEING SELECTED FOR THE JOB?
Many have talked about the demise of American influence. I believe that our system of putting forth the current slate for the next leader of the free world is totally inadequate and MUST BE REVISED. Unless we do, we deserve to be ridiculed throughout the world .
