The Warrenville Bicyclists and Pedestrian Advisory Commission is dedicated to improving  the quality of life in our community through the increase of safe walking and bicycling as a viable means of transportation and physical activity. Through the efforts of this group, the City of Warrenville has adopted a Bikeway plan, and the group will be preparing a similar plan for pedestrians.  Several events occur, and are being planned by the Commission, and the group is looking for helpers. If you are a bicyclists, or like to walk, there is an opportunity for you to volunteer.  Events like the Annual Bike Rodeo is a lot of fun, and provides a real service to our community. Other activities include plans to provide free bicycle parking in the form of a “Bike Corral” at community events, such as the Foiurth of July  and Summer Daze.   If you have any interest at all, please contact  <JMcMahon@warrenville.il.us
