Artists Clear your Studios Sale Opportunity-See below. This may be a new venue for sale of your works. There is a price to pay. You must deliver, display, and retrieve your art in Richmond. Maybe a group can get together and one person go up and setup and then another go up and teardown and retrieve. Next, the artist is responsible for setup easels or pedestals must be used and provided by the artist. The commission is 40% on sales. The Gallery does all sales and tax work. Hello from the one smART gallery show in Richmond,
I would like to introduce you to the artists’ studio clearance sale – one smART gallery, in Richmond, VA - and extend an invitation to the membership of the Blacksburg Regional Art Association to attend this year’s show.
Currently, we have Virginia artists attending our show from Richmond to Virginia Beach, but no artists from Southwest Virginia! I hope that will change this year. Below is some introduction information about the show and a link to the onesmART website. Call-for-entry for this 10-day show begins December 1, 2008.
If you are interested in knowing more, I would be happy to travel that way to give a presentation at one of your monthly meetings. This show is WELL-ATTENDED and because of the studio-clearance angle – it draws shoppers who are ready to buy (not just shop). Artists love the show because it’s FREE to enter and super-easy to participate in. Just drop-off and set-up your work and leave the work to us. For artists outside of Richmond, this is a great introduction to a new market.
