Intergenerational Arts - 2008 Class Series
mom's and sons… grandads and grandkids… aunts and nieces…

Course Description: Adult/child (aged 7-11) teams will work together, using fingers like brushes, swabs, sticks and sponges to create art with dots, in the styles of Georges Seurat, or Australian Aboriginal Art, or our own special inspiration. For older participants, working directly with paint and surfaces will help to liberate the child within. The movements, colors and textures tap into the natural and primitive essence that exists in each of us. While the results may not be suitable for framing, the experience will be one for the family scrapbook.

Dates, Time and Location: Saturday September 27, 1-4 pm at the Y Center

Instructors: Liz del Pilar Muñoz and Leslye Bloom, certified art teachers and BRAA exhibiting Artists

Course Fee: $50 per pair (one person school-age, and one person older, preferably related.) Art supplies will be provided at no cost.
