Well I am happy to tell you guys that I had a blast at the state HBE sale. I arrived at cedar lakes on Saturday night and went fishing with the team. in the morning we arrived at the capital and began setting up for a "vigerous night of auctioneering". The day seemed to go by fast. i lost track of the time until Derek came in with a parking ticket because we let the meter run out. I would say that was one of the funniest moments of the trip (that and singing in the vehicle on the way home.) For all of you that participated Job well done. I hope your sending out your Thank You's to you buyers. Here are some tips I ran across when writing thank you letters to buyers.

~Keep it formal...Don't use words like "What's up?" or texting lingo.
~Check for miss-spellings
~ It's nice to add why your thankful for them buying your ham or bacon or even a story about raising or something you've learned about it.
~sign with your first and last name. (and date)
~ Put a return address on the letter incase they need to know how to get ahold of you for next year.
~ Above all show the up most appreciation!!!

Well I've got to go to my chapter Ham and Bacon show so until next time take care FFA! Love always, Danielle
