Hello Everyone,
Sorry I haven't wrote much recently. Things have been really busy with college classes and everything. This past week help to big things for me as a state officer. First on Thursday October 2nd was the first Northeastern regional meeting. For those of you that haven't heard of one, a regional meeting is where all the chapters within the region get together at one place and basically discuss recent happenings within each chapter. This was a big meeting for me. Not only was it my first regional meeting, as a state officer, for my region it was also hosted by my home chapter- Mineral Co. It was great hearing everything the chapters will be doing this fall and how everyone did at CDEs. Also the region elected new regional officers. Congratulations to those of you that got elected. I know you have a great year ahead of you. It was great meeting the members from across the region. I had some great chats with several of you and hope to see many of you at Nationals. Thanks again to Mineral Co. for the great food and fun times. I had a blast. Friday was also a big day for us a team. We traveled to Buckhannon to the WV Farm Bureau. It was a great day of learning many things about wonderful West Virginia agriculture. I personally picked up a lot of information that I had never heard before. I definitely feel better prepared for my next year of serving you wonderfully passionate FFA members.
Soon we will be traveling to Ind for National Convention. I hope to see many of you there. Remember if you need anything we as state officers will be happy to help. Contact me anytime.
