Wow! It seems like time has gone by so quickly. Over my Christmas break I was able to visit with five of the chapters in my region. I had a great time at each chapter. I really enjoyed meeting all of the members and learning about the things they and their chapters do. It sounds like everyone is going to have a great year!!!!! And I am super excited that I have the opportunity to be a part of that!!!!
I want to take some time to give a few shout-outs to chapters I have had the chance to visit thus far.
Shady Spring: You guys were a great first visit!!!! I was so nervous and you guys made me feel right at home!!! You have a great officer team and I know you guys are going to have an amazing year!!!!
Pocahontas County: Even though you have hit some bumps, I am glad to see that you are still interested and keep fighting. I am so happy to see that you will be able to attend WLC!!!! Way to go guys!!!!!
Fayette Plateau: You guys are great!!!! You all are so upbeat and fun to be around that I couldn’t help but have a good time! Hang in there…. Good things are coming to you guys!
Greenbrier West: I wasn’t sure how it was going to be having a fellow officer in my classes at a chapter visit but I had a blast with you guys!! Keep up the good work!!!
Liberty: I am so sorry the bad weather cut our visit short!!! I was having so much fun with you guys…. But not to fear… I will be back in March so I can meet the rest of you that I missed seeing and see how things are coming. I hope you get to have that hog roast!!!
And last but not least James Monroe: First it was a deer that kept me from coming and then the snow. But I can’t wait until I come to visit with you guys!!!!! Until then, keep up the good work and I hope to see you soon!
All of my chapter visits were great and I enjoyed meeting every single one of you and learning about your enterprises and the activities you and your chapters are involved in! As always, please let me know if I can do anything for you and your chapters!!!
Hope to see you all at WLC!!!!!!!
Until next time,
Leah
