Hello all!!!!!!
Wow!!!!! National Convention was AWESOME!!!! I am so excited about being able to represent you all, the members, who elected me. It was such an honor to be a delegate. I learned so much about the workings of our great organization. It really made me realize how lucky I am to be part of such an amazing youth organization.
Last year as I sat in the stands of the convention hall, I was inspired. I looked around and all I could see was blue jackets. At that moment, I knew I wanted to be a state officer. And this year, as I attended the 81st annual FFA convention as a state officer and as I was sitting on the floor of the convention hall, I looked up. And I saw the same sea of blue jackets. I was so moved that there were tears coming from my eyes. It was really amazing to see so many people gathered together for the same cause. So many young people gathered there from all over the United States for one thing. The FFA.
I am so proud to be part of this organization and to wear the blue jacket. There is a sense of pride and accomplishment I have every time I put it on. I hope that every time you put your FFA jacket on you feel proud.
