I’m last one to write a blog, but not the last one to think about you all!!! I’ve been getting use to the whole college thing.
Well, last week I got the chance to visit with some of the Northeastern Region members at their first regional meeting of the year. For you all that don’t know what a regional meeting is, it is where all of the schools from the region come together and meet. This meeting started off with the reports about chapter activities. I learned about what every chapter is planning for the fall activities and how everyone did at CDE’s. After that, they held the election for new regional officers. The following is are the Northeastern Regional Officers: Beth Morgan ( Martinsburg)- President, Julee Mullins (Hampshire)- VP at Large, Ashley Wakefield (Jefferson)- VP for Jefferson, Berkeley, and Morgan, Megan Jones (Mineral)-VP for Hampshire and Mineral, Ryan Turner(Mineral)-Secretary, and Dustin (Hedgesville)-Treasurer. The meeting was adjourned and everyone went to a cook-out that was hosted by the Mineral Co. FFA Chapter. I enjoyed spending time with the members, and playing games.
