IT’S NATIONAL FFA WEEK!!!!!

I hope every ones activities are going well. This is the week to show your chapter, your school, and your community what the FFA and Agriculture means to you. I hope this week is full of fun for you guys and girls. Make this week count and be the best National FFA week ever!!! This is an exciting week and I hope everyone makes the best out of it.

I can’t wait to go home to my chapter and celebrate National FFA Week with them on Thursday and Friday. The Jefferson FFA Chapter has a degree ceremony during this week, which I get to attend. It’s always wonderful to see new members getting their first FFA degree. It reminds me of a match that is just lit, touching it to wood and watching it start a fire. The match is lit is like a new member starting their FFA career by getting their first degree. Touching it to wood could be like their first National FFA Week, which gets them excited about the FFA. Finally, the fire shows that the member isn’t new anymore, but is a big part of the FFA chapter that helps to keep it going. Because once we get our first degree, you always want more of the FFA, and then we want to set bigger goals in the FFA.

                        Love Always,
