Hi Everyone,
I spent this pass week traveling through the Eastern part of the state, as I visited Preston High School, East Hardy High School, Pendleton High School, and Mineral FFA Chapter. I enjoyed meeting and talking members and students about the FFA, Leadership, and Working together as a group. I got the chance to eat lunch with the chapter officers talk about the upcoming events in their chapters. Also I talked to them about some of the problems they face as a chapter officer such as not having involvement from membership, coming up with new activities, and not having a lot of community service activities. As I have traveled around the state, I’m beginning to believe that these problems are across the state. We as a state need to come up with ways to solve these state wide problems.

I can’t believe it’s less than a week away Christmas. I hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday as you travel to see family and friends. I know many schools are about to get out on Monday, so don’t get to crazy right before the Christmas Holiday.

       Love Always,
