Well, I am really at a loss for words right now. It is hard to believe that convention has ended, everyone has went home, and I am now retired. It has a been a good year and I wouldn't trade it for the world. From the state officer's prospective looking out to the members, it is amazing what you all (the members) have accomplished this year. Some states are so big, the members seem disconected from each other, others are so small that it seems like everyone sees each other so often they get tired of each other. But, in WV it is just right. Whenever we had a contest, conference, or convention, it was so cool to watch everyone come together as one state. It was more like a great big reunion....yeah, during the contest you were flat out enemies, but after it was all said and done, everyone came together as friends, as one state, like it should be.
I guess all I have left to say is thank you for giving me a great year. I feel this year has been very beneficial to myself and the WV association. I hope you enjoyed this year as much as I did and I hope yo continue to support the new officers as much as you did us. If you need anything at all, feel free to get a hold of me anytime.
