AMAZING
This past week I had the privilege of watching students participate in the CDE events in Morgantown. I had a blast just talking with everyone and watching the movie on Thursday night. Next year I hope that even more schools come out.
Standing on the floor Friday morning was so invigorating that sometimes I forgot what I was supposed to be doing and Dr. Boone had to get my attention so she could hand me the award to pass out. I got so excited hearing the names called and seeing everybody walk the mile to the floor. That day I saw many emotions. I saw hope, fear, excitement, dissapointment, happiness, sadness, anger, anxiety, love between teamates, and heard laughter and saw tears of happiness. Friday was a great day, and no matter how someone did, there was always something to be learned from the contest or the results.
I hope that everyone took my advice to heart and focussed on all of the good that thier team and themselves did. Good luck to the teams going to Indy and I can't wait to see you there. To everyone else, keep trying, never give up, and stay positive.
