Well in the last week I have traveled to Charleston and to Barbour County. On Sunday I went to Charleston and got up early on Monday to go to the State Ham Bacon and Egg sale. It was the first time in many years that I have been to the sale and I had a blast. Between the Governors dinner and the actual sale I had a great time and was able to meet many great people. We are so lucky in West Virginia to have the partnerships that we have and such great people to back us up. Right after the sale Andrea, Scott, Beth, and myself headed back to Keyser. We got back at around 2:30am and were up early for classes.
On Friday I got up bright and early and headed to Philip Barbour High School for my chapter visit. It was so great getting to go back to Barbour County where I had grown up until I was 12. It was fun to see how things have changed and how some things have stayed the same. The students were great and I have some amazing memories from that trip. After school I stayed or their chapter meeting. After the meeting I got to meet up with some old friends from their and then headed back to school.
Well next week is spring break and am planning on having four chapter visits. I’ll let you know how they go. Take care and like always if you need anything e-mail me at jadahostuttler@yahoo.com
