Four hours, two pit stops, and a near death experience later and we were in Flat Woods for our September meeting and our group workshops.  Now it had already been an interesting trip with Andrea, Beth, Scott and I riding to Flat Woods but the excitement had just begun.  We hadn’t seen most of our team for a month and the excitement of seeing them overtook us.  We hugged everyone and headed straight into meetings.   The next day we headed to Braxton County High School to give presentations to Mr. Skidmore’s classes.  This was our first time doing workshops and we were a bit nervous but all went well and we had an amazing time.  Thank you to all the wonderful people there for inviting us in and making us feel at home.  We headed back to the hotel and continued with meetings that night and the next morning but let me tell you meetings are never boring with our team. J  Sadly, on Saturday we had to head out and go home.  Saying good-bye is the hardest thing to do.  Well we started to head out but not before stopping at the strip mall and doing a little looking around.  Heading back up the road we got slightly lost, or according to Mr. Hughes we took the scenic route, and yet were on the right road at the same time.  Now to get a full grasp of the situation you have to know what was said.

“ Turn there, turn there.” 5 minutes later “ I don’t think you were supposed to turn there”

“ Well someone use the GPS on your phone”

“ It wont work without signal”

“ Quiet I cant hear the game”  The WVU game.

“ You keep us updated on the score and you call your dad to see where we are”

“ He’s not answering”

“ If we lose signal for the game your turning around to find it again”

And this, along with extreme laughing, continued until we stopped to ask where we were.  It was another interesting trip filled with lots of love, laughing and learning.

Like always take care and if you need anything e-mail me at jadahostuttler@yahoo.com.   Later everyone.
