It has been an interesting ride these past few months. But I am a firm believer that everything in life happens for a reason. Now yes you still have choices in life, but the road you take will lead you in the right direction if you allow it to.
In the past few weeks I have went to an officer meeting, traveled to national convention, studied like never before, visited the Ripley FFA chapter for their chili dinner( which the food was great by the way), worked on officer things, and made some new discoveries about my life.
First we start with the officer meeting in Ripley. We worked on planning the Winter Leadership Conference which is going to be amazing if I do say so myself. We also got to catch up with each other. That night six of us stayed at Cedar Lakes for the trip to Indianapolis the following morning. Our trip was so much fun and full of great experiences and lots of learning. It was also entertaining seeing as we had a Tahoe with seven people and a weeks worth of luggage. It is funny now looking back but not so much at the time. It was nice being out there though because I had the chance to talk to a lot of people from around the country that I have met at other events and also meet so many new people which is probably my favorite part. Also, West Virginia represented very well at National Convention and we were all very proud.
Once I returned back to school I had a lot of catching up to do. Thankfully I have some pretty great friends that helped me catch up. Thank you Friend Hall.
On the 30th I headed to Ripley for their Chili dinner and Auction. I had so much fun down there talking to everyone who showed up. The members were very welcoming and great to spend time with.
The rest of the weekend I spent in Morgantown. I went to the movies with Nick Beaver and John Lockhart and if ever you need a good laugh just play peanut butter jelly time with those two in the car. Then I stayed the night with Eleanor and on Sunday played Rummy for hours with Nick and Eleanor. I had so much fun and it was really nice being able to get away for a weekend.
Then we have the last two weeks. I have been studying, working on workshops and planning, trying to convince my roommate that my side of the room has a very lived in feeling where as she says I’m just a slob (well I may be but honestly I don’t know how, I am never in my room I’m always gone and its like for every mess I clean two more take its place), and I have really been thinking about my future. It’s been busy but it’s been worth it.
Like always take care and if you need anything e-mail me at jadahostuttler@yahoo.com. Later everyone.
PS. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving
