Ripley Banquet/Retreat

Needless to say that I have beenextremely busy lately. A few weeks ago i had the privilege of going to the Ripley Banquet. I drove down from Morgantown and Mr. hughes' daughter, Lakyn, went with me. We had a ton of fun at the banquet.  It was very well organized and the president, Andrew, did an excellent job.  They had a powerpoint of all the activities they had done through out the year. It was excellent.  That same night I went back up to Morgantown and the next day I was headed to our retreat which was to be held up near Moorefield.

I rode up with Nick. Riding with Nick alwaysmakes for interesting stories.  We ended knocking on random people's houses to try to findout where we are (Don't try this at home). I didnt think we would ever make it.  Once we finally got there the rest of the gang was waiting for us.  We stayed up in a cabin.  Dinner was waiting. After we all got settled in we sat around answering questions about ourselves so wecould all get a better understandingofeach other.

The next day we visited the smoke hole caverns.  I decided that thispart of WV is absolutely gorgeous.  I loved the mountains and the caverns were so cool!  Bythe end  of the I was sick, which kind of ruined the remainder ofthe trip, butI definitely enjoyed the visit.
