Our Gettysburg trip started off with Hillary and I being late to Mr. Hughes house.  Once we got there and loaded up into the “Van”.  We found sausage links under the seats and a used pop tart but this was where the good memories began.  We went and visited Harper’s Ferry and climbed up Seneca Rock. The view was amazing!  On our way up Mr. Hughes decided that we should take some “scenic detours” but it was fun.

Once we got there we met up with the other states and during the days we sat through sessions held by a couple of the national officers.  We were the first states to win the Burger King Crown (these were kind of like the spirit sticks)!  We made so many friends.  After we were crowned we cheered for PA FFA and by the end of the week the other states were cheering for them too. They had a dance the last night that we were there and WV definitely set the trends that night.  It was a long trip back!  Andrea spent the night at my house and the next morning we left for the State Fair.  We helped Mr. Burdette in the FFA building and Friday we got to hang out at the fair.  Then on the way home I took some “scenic detours”. Overall I had a blast and it was some good times.
