Last week I went to Iowa with two my best friends. We had a blast. We competed in an Agriculture Contest. It was a six week long trip and overall we did pretty good, but unfortunately I had to miss the Ham, Bacon, and Egg Show and Sale. I was really looking forward to going. I know that the other officers had a really great time and there was some good competition there.
On Monday, I did get to go visit Taylor County FFA. The day started of dreary with rain, but it improved. I met many of the members and I did two different workshops. Mr. Tennant took me out to lunch. We ate at subway which is one of my favorite places to eat. I really enjoyed his Ag. 4 class. The students really got involved with the workshop and we had a lot of fun.
Next week is my spring break where I plan on making many visits. Hope to see you there!
