Spring is finally here!! This past weekend the weather was so beautiful!! It was amazing baseball weather and I took advantage of it. Saturday I sat and watched Potomac State Baseball for five hours straight. Yeah I am definitely regretting not putting on sunscreen now because I now look like a lobster. But it was worth it! It was nice to get to enjoy a weekend in the sun.
Early last Monday Jada, Beth, Scott, Nick and myself all headed over to help set up for the State Ham, Bacon and Egg Sale. It was the first time that I had ever been to the sale. After all the judging was done and all the grading was recorded; we then along with the help of the Cameron FFA moved all of the Hams, Bacons and Eggs into the sale order. At 5 we got to go to the Governor's Mansion for a reception and dinner with all of the supporters and buyers. After that we went back to the sale room in the capitol complex and then the sale started. I had a wonderful time and got to meet a lot of new people.
Next week is spring break for Potomac State and I plan to have a few chapter visits. I look forward to getting to meet new members.
