We are nearing the end of the semester rather quickly. I only have eleven more days of college left. It is hard to believe how fast this year has went. I can almost officially say I am a sophomore now. But, overall my first year of college has went really well, I have learned alot and met so many people.
Last Friday around one Scott, Beth and myself packed up and left Potomac State to head to Ripley. We got there at 4:30 which was and hour and a half early, which is taking "early" to a new level. At 6 the rest of the team showed up and we all had dinner then headed over to Cedar Lakes and we worked on some State Convention Planning and took care of a few other duties. Saturday all of the ag teachers arrived bright and early for the Govern Body Meeting.
Beth and I left Ripley around noon on Saturday and headed to Pendleton County for there parent and member banquet. We had a wonderful time there and enjoyed watching the members of the chapter shine. To the officers: You guys did and AMAZING job running the banquet!! You have a lot to be proud of!!!
I have been invited to 6 other banquets. I am very excited to get to go and observe what the other chapters have done throughout the year. Best of luck to all the chapters!! This is your time to shine!!!
Next week, is my final full week of school; so, I will be packing up my things and studying for final exams. Good luck to everyone on your finals!!!
