Wow! I can already tell that it is going to be an exciting year. Sitting here thinking about how great the last month has been makes me wonder what I was thinking when I was deciding whether I should run for a state office. At that point I had all of the desire in the world to be a state officer and serve the WV FFA members but I was scared. I was worried that if I would get elected that I may not be the best person for the job. Then I realized that I was not going to hold myself back, and that I was going to do everything that I could to get a chance to serve the great members of the WV FFA. I can honestly say that our first month as a team has been a life changing experience, and that deciding to run for a state office was one of the best decisions of my life. Even though a lot of us on the team have only known each other for the last month it feels like we have known each ohter for years. In the last couple of months I have learned a lot, but the most important things that I learned is to follow my dreams and make decisions with my heart. I challenge all FFA members to do the same because if you do you will be suprised where this orginization will take you. I look forward to seeing you all at WLC and chapter visits. See you soon.
