Hey everyone, I am pumped about this year in the FFA!!!  I can not wait untill WLC, we have already started planning and let me tell you, you are going to have a blast.

First off, I would like to thank everyone who voted for me at state convention.  Soon after state convention we went to Blast Off and had a ball.  We had Seth Heinert, a past national officer from Wyoming, as our blast off instructor.  It was awsome to have Seth there working with us one on one.  The four days that we spent with each other was a great learning experience for everybody, including Mr. Hughes, who had his first encounter with a Cosmo Magasiene.  We spent our free time either sitting around talking or fishing.  I kept making Beth mad because I was the only one who was able to catch a fish.

I have just recently attended my county fair and it was a blast.  I spent alot of time in the barn carring for my pig and at Scott's camper just hanging out.  The sale was on Friday and my hog brought two dollars a pound.  Later that night, I began packing for my trip for National Leadership Conference for State Officers, or simply NLCSO.  It took me roughly an hour to pack because all that I needed to gather was my Official Dress and some casual clothing like blue jeans and t-shirts.  Early that next morning I got up and drove down to the Tyler County Fair Grounds, where I met Scott and Kimmie.  We all climbed into Kimmie's Truck and went to meet Mr. Hughes and some of the crew.

Who would have thunk it, Mr Hughes was running late, so we drove up and down the interstate looking for them.  After roughly fifteen minuits of running up and down the road, we pulled in to the spot where we were suposed to meet Mr. Hughes.  When he pulled up, we sank down into the seats of Kimmie's truck and hid from everyone, they were parked beside us and did not know it.  It gave us all a good laugh.

After we climbed into the van we began our trip and picked up our fellow FFA officers on the way.

We stopped at Martins Ferry and had a blast.  We toured some of the gift stores and went through a few museums.  It was a blast.

I can now say that I have been in three states in under five minuits.  That was cool.  We started in West Virginia, crossed a river into Maryland, and then crossed another river to go into Pensylvania.

At NLCSO we had a blast!!!  It was hosted by Regina Holliday and Riley Branch, who are two current national officers.  For those who do not remember, Regina Holliday was the national officer who attended our state convention.  These two worked great together as a team and taught us alot about leadership and constructing workshops.

Durring NLCSO we took a trip to the Gettysburg battlefiels.  That was a very interesting and very informative.  We looked at some canons and some bullets that were dug up in the battlefield, they were in very good condition for their age.

All in all, I developing myself into the best leader as I can and my teammates are doing the same as we continue to grow together.

Everybody be prepared for us to blow you out of the water this coming year with all you can handle.
