Hey guys, it’s me again. I am on the downward slope of getting used to life here in Morgantown. It was a little rougher than most, but now I am back to normal, no strings attached. There is one thing that I miss most about this time of the year, and that is studying for CDE’s. There is nothing more enjoyable than spending the evening at the school hanging with your friends and studying for the big contest. I know it doesn’t sound fun spending the evening with your nose in the books, but there is more to it than that. If you can’t have fun, there is no reason to do it at all. Some of my favorite memories of the FFA are of the nights spent at the school preparing myself and my team for the contest. My advisor, Mr. Ammons, has always said, “If you are not having fun, you don’t have a reason to be here”, this is one piece of advice that I have always taken very serious. I have found out if you have fun while you are studying you will do much better. To those who read this, I wish you luck in your CDE’s and remember to have fun.
